Isaac ben Asher II
Hebrew Name(s): יצחק בן אשר

Period: Rishonim — 13th Century
Location: Germany
Dates: c. 1200

Isaac ben Asher II was a Tosafist and quoted by Mordecai b. Hillel ha-Kohen, and in the Haggahot Maimuniyyot (Meir ha-Kohen). Both writers say Isaac ben Asher II died a martyr. Da'at Zekenim records the tradition that Isaac ben Asher II was born the day the Tosafist Isaac ben Asher ha-Levi died.
